Description

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Order Entry Agent supports the company’s goals by providing an excellent customer experience through their handling of the customers unit prior to repair. The Order Entry Agent’s primary responsibility is to inspect and input incoming job orders accurately per specific account processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter all pertinent customer information into database
  • Verify all contents (unit, accessories, etc.) are listed in sales order & located in shipping container
  • Process all other information necessary for order prior to receiving unit or post technician handling
  • Follow necessary guidelines/processes for each customer with appropriate fields filled as necessary
  • Record accurate details of inquiries, customer comments etc. into specific sales order
  • Ensure units are moved into distribution center and are properly scanned
  • Maintain a clean and effective work area per documented procedures
  • Cultivate effective working relationships across all company departments
  • In Low volume situations, willingness to assist in other departments

Key Metrics

  • 100% of incoming daily incoming orders entered into database
  • 100% accuracy of customer information

Physical Requirements

  • Standing at a workstation for a full shift
  • Lifting crates filled with orders weighing less than 20 lbs.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 5yrs experience in a high volume data entry environment preferred
  • 60 WPM typing skills
